In the lyrical hands of Tadashi Shoji, sheaths and circle-skirted dresses were rendered in nude and jewel-toned bands of vintage Venetian lace. “A journey along the modern Silk Road,” Shoji called it. And for those rich hippies, he offered ikat-printed, tea-length dresses and pleated gowns.

My favorite dress

Tadashi Shoji was romancing the detail when he created the collection. He makes sheer sexy and flattering by loving the lace and the nudes.

He successfully executed his vision through long and flowing gowns with beau embellishments and the lace embroideries. Pieces to die for.

Great collection with bright and neutral colors, elegant pieces, best show of the day.

The secret garden of Tadashi Shoji, spring 2011, is the one that I want to get lost in!
