The Christmas season can finally start cause the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book has arrived!
Neiman Marcus revealed its annual holiday catalog this morning, and the priciest gift this year is a pair of “his and hers” timepieces from Van Cleef & Arpels with a trip included to Geneva and while there, buyers will receive a tour that includes the Van Cleef & Arpels watchmaking workshops, all for $1,090,000.
Neiman Marcus “fantasy gifts” in its 2012 Christmas Book also includes a red special edition McLaren 12C Spider for $354,000, a hen house inspired by France’s Versailles palace for $100,000 and a walk-on role in Broadway’s “Annie: The Musical” for $30,000, a $70,000 piece from artist Robert Wilson, a $250,000 dinner for 10 prepared by famed chefs Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, Richard Rosendale and Jerome Bocuse, a $150,000 wood-paneled tailgating trailer pre-stocked with bourbon and rye, a $99,500 water-propelled jetpack and a $90,000 arcade gaming machine. All the fantasy gifts are paired with a charity that will benefit from their sale.
For those with smaller budgets, almost 40 percent of the items offered in the catalog cost less than $250. The cheapest item is a $10 monogrammed mug.
Our wish list would be simple: a $250,000 dinner for 10, along with the McLaren 12C Spider in red and a few items from our picks below. Santa, are you listening?
