Forbes
has ranked the 100 most powerful women in the world and a handful of them are involved with the fashion industry. Racked.com has compiled them here:

Vying for power rankings with Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel (No. 1), Yahoo’s new CEO Marissa Mayer (No. 20), and general world-dominator Oprah Winfrey (No. 11) are nine of fashion’s finest. See who made the cut after the jump.

Beyonce (No. 32): The House of Dereon founder has not only managed to get herself crowned People’s Most Beautiful Woman in the World, but she’s knocked out two albums and a baby this year.

Diane von Furstenberg (No. 33): She is so influential and beloved that the CFDA actually allowed her to serve an unprecedented fourth term as President.

Jennifer Lopez (No. 38): Jennifer Lopez is still doing her line for Kohl’s.

Anna Wintour (51): We’re actually a little surprised to find Anna all the way down here at number 51, as she’s normally at the top of any power list around.

Rosalia Mera (No. 54): You may not know her by name, but along with her former husband, the Spanish designer and entrepreneur the created fast-fashion chain Zara.

Miuccia Prada (No. 67): The only designer besides DVF to make the cut.

Gisele Bundchen (No. 83): The world’s richest super model.

Home Shopping Network chief executive officer Mindy Grossman (No. 96): Changing HSN’s reputation from a destination for bored housewives to an upscale shopping destination is no easy task, but Grossman is actually making the network cool, as lines with Jonathan Adler, Mary J. Blige, Iman, and Iris Apfel demonstrate.
