Nicole Richie is lending her design talents to a new line at Macy’s. Dubbed Nicole Richie for Impulse only at Macy’s, the collection will be heavily ’70-influenced and will include retro prints, feather and deco chevron, velvet, chiffon, and jewel tones, allowing shoppers to recreate the style icon’s bohemian chic aesthetic at an affordable price (from $49 to $149). Nicole Richie is following in the footsteps of big name designers such as Giambattista Valli and Karl Lagerfeld by designing a range for US department store Macy’s.

Launching in 100 Macy’s stores and on in September, Richie’s limited edition collection will be the latest designer teamup to hit the retailer’s contemporary fashion Impulse department.

“I am thrilled to have this opportunity to work with Macy’s and create a collection that channels the individual artist in all of us,” said Richie. ”Macy’s is the epitome of American fashion,” Richie says in a press release. “Their iconic stamp on the world of retail has not only touched the lives of consumers, but has also become a significant part of pop-culture.”
