Reiss lands at Bloomingdale's Directly From the UK

Reiss has opened its store inside Bloomingdale's in Manhattan, which means no more shipping charges from the online store for brand lovers (including me).

Reiss is leasing the space from Bloomingdale's and will responsible for the staffing at the in-store shop. Reiss will get a virtual presence on bloomingdales.com and in the Bloomingdale's catalog as part of the deal.

{trends} The Slippers You’re Gonna Want

As I was thinking about the next not so welcome winter I came across these slippers by Jacques Levine seen in these first two snaps.

While comfortable shoes have always been blamed of being ugly and unfashionable (at least that's what I think) these slippers look trend-forward, comfortable and stylish and I'm sure the sheep skin will help keep my toesies all warm and toasty during the cold winter months.

I'm already dreaming about these cozy-looking slippers and finally give a break to the "uggly" sheep skin boots that I've been wearing for so many years as I'm planning to wear them inside and outside my house.

So which will you choose? Either way, you can’t go wrong. Aren’t they a beauty?

Like they need Ice Cream to make us drool!!!!

Charitable Store Opens in SoHo

NYtimes.com

Nordstrom's has opened its first store in NYC, it is called treasure&bond, located at 350 West Broadway (between Broome and Grand).

It's something different in retail. They plan to donate 100% of their profits to non-profit organizations benefitting children of New York City.

"We're a local business and we want to give back to the people we'll be serving. Here's how it will work. We have an eclectic selection of unique fashion, art, gifts and other merchandise that we hope you'll want to buy. Every quarter, we'll tally up sales and subtract all of our expenses and every bit of profit will be split equally among the non-profit partners we've selected to help the kids of New York."
