I have been having a lot of fun on Lyst lately, shopping, saving things I want and creating collections with the products I love.
In case you aren’t familiar, Lyst is a site that helps you find and buy fashion. When searching the site, you simply “+Add to Lyst” anything you want so it is saved to your lyst, you can then organize those items by putting them into collections like “What I want for Christmas” or “10 Best Day Dresses.” One of my favorite things about Lyst is their sale alerts – if any product you have in your lyst goes on sale, they will let you know right away. For a veteran fashionista like myself, this is a great tool, it’s like having a personal shopper on every website out there.
Another great feature is the stylefeed, which helps you discover products from the people you follow. You can follow us, your favorite designers, retailers, publishers, style icons and even your friends. Whenever anyone you follow adds and item to their lyst you find out! It works a little like twitter, but for fashion.
My friends over at Lyst are running an awesome promotion with Neiman Marcus starting tomorrow where they are giving away $250 a day for the 12 days until Christmas. Every day they will feature a product for users to create a collection around. The winning collection will win. It is such a fun way to be creative and win some holiday shopping money. Here are the details and go to *Lyst.com tomorrow to see the first product and sign up!
