Tamara Mellon has decided to leave her position at Jimmy Choo. Mellon is the chief creative officer and co-founder of the brand, which she helped set up 15 years ago.
The news comes just months after the business was bought for over $US800 million by Labeluxan European private luxury group, which also owns Bally.
Tamara met Jimmy while she was working as an accessories editor at Vogue in the 90′s. She went on to found Jimmy Choo in 1996 with a $US240,000 loan from her father.
